Your journey does not end with a permit. It begins with preparation.

A permit may provide legal authority, but it cannot give you judgment, confidence, or dependable skill. Those are earned through responsible, continued training.

At The Carry Guy Firearms Shooting Academy, our progressive path gives every student a clear next step—whether you are purchasing your first handgun or building upon decades of experience.

01 — FOUNDATIONS: Build safe gun-handling habits and fundamental marksmanship.
02 — SKILLS: Develop greater consistency, control, accuracy, and confidence.
03 — PERFORMANCE: Apply dependable skills while moving, thinking, and making decisions.
04 — SPECIALIST TRAINING: Prepare for home, vehicle, low-light, women’s, youth, church safety, and private coaching needs.
05 — MASTERY: Continue refining your safety, judgment, skills, and responsibility.

First, I demonstrate.
You see the skill and hear what to pay attention to before you practice.

Then, you work through it with me.
I watch, explain what needs attention, and help you apply the corrections. We work from your current ability.

Before you leave, we review your next steps.
You get a clear direction for continued practice, so you know what to keep working on after class.
